Will you refund me if I have to pay for airport check-in?
If we failed to check you in even though you provided us with your check-in details more than 24h before departure or we didn’t offer to check you in at all, we will naturally refund you the airport check-in fee.
We offer an online check-in service for all eligible flights where the airline charges an airport check-in fee. But in some rare cases, it might happen that the airline only introduced the fee recently or we failed to check you in because of a technical issue.
We will not refund airport check-in fees if you’re charged for not completing Ryanair’s verification process — we informed you that they might require you to do so before you booked and paid for your trip.

How do I apply for a check-in refund?
When you’re asked to pay the fee at the airport, please keep the receipt or take a screenshot.
Then go to your trip, click on “Refunds and cancellations” on the top of the page, and choose “Check-in issue” as your reason for the refund. Upload a copy of the receipt and send us the request.
Our agents will check your request and send you your refund within 6 weeks. They’ll get to it as soon as they can and will notify you when it’s sent.
