The best months to travel to the Bahamas (of which Nassau is the capital) are November and late April. During these months, you can enjoy beautiful weather without hurricanes and crowds of tourists.

January is usually the cheapest month to go to Nassau. This month is considered low-season and thus not popular among tourists.

Nassau has only one airport: Lynden Pindling Intl (NAS), also called Nassau Intl. It is approximately 15 km from downtown Nassau. You can drive to the city center from the airport in 25 minutes.
