| Customer support |
Customer support at Kiwi is primarily handled by our AI agent. Your requests follow a straightforward process: Most interactions are handled directly by the AI across chat, email, and voice. It answers queries and manages actions like cancellations, refunds, re-bookings, or check-ins. The AI agent never takes autonomous actions that result in changes to your booking without your prior authorization; you will always be asked to explicitly confirm any change before it is finalized. Escalations to human agents happen only when necessary or requested by the user. When a case is handed over, background AI tools summarize your communication history and route the details so human agents can step in seamlessly. AI also monitors carrier updates to detect flight changes and disruptions automatically. To keep everything running, we log communications across email, chat, and phone. For legal disputes with carriers regarding disrupted flights, we share your email with a third-party partner who can contact you to help process claims. We also review interactions to improve our tools and overall service quality. |
