Seat selection

Some carriers charge extra for you to select your seat. If you don’t mind where you sit, you can opt out of paying and receive a free seat at random during check-in.

If we offer seat selection for a carrier, you can choose your seat during the booking process, or up to 48 hours before your departure. If we don’t offer seat selection for a carrier, you’ll be assigned a seat during check-in, at no additional cost.

If you have a special request, feel free to contact us or ask at the carrier’s check-in counter at the airport.

Traveling with children or in a group?

We recommend choosing to sit together, especially if you’re traveling with children.

Some airlines, such as Ryanair or its subsidiary Laudamotion, add an automatic seating fee to bookings with child passengers (ages 2-12). In their case, a €4 – €10 fee per flight arranges seats for up to 4 children to sit alongside an accompanying adult.
You won’t be able to select specific seats, but we’ll sit you together where space allows. If for some reason this can't be done, the next nearest seats will be selected.
The fee will increase if passengers fly with 5 or more children. For more information, please see Ryanair's Family Bookings policy.

Selecting seats during the booking process

Before finalizing your booking, you have the option to pay to select your preferred seat. As a single traveler, you can choose an aisle, window, or extra legroom seat, and if traveling in a group you can choose to sit together.

Once you’ve booked, your choice of seating will be visible on your e-ticket, and in your trip details after signing in to your account.

Selecting seats after booking

You can also choose your seat after booking your trip, just sign in > My trips > select your trip > Seat selection.

From there, you can view the seat map, see what’s available, and make your selection.
