Change and cancellation options based on your ticket type
When you book with us, you can pick from 3 ticket types with different conditions for when you might need to change or cancel an active trip.
💡 You can make changes or cancel up to 48h before the start of your trip. With Flexi Tickets bought less than a week before the first departure, it’s possible up to 4 hours before.

Ticket types
Saver Ticket
- It’s not possible to change your trip. If your existing trip doesn’t work for you anymore, you can cancel it and book a new one.
- For bookings made before December 5th 2024: If you cancel, you’ll get €10 in Kiwi.com Credit that you can use for a new booking.
- For bookings made on or after December 5th 2024: You can still cancel your trip with us up to 48 hours before the start of the journey, and we’ll handle your request according to airline rules. You’ll be charged a refund fee of €30 per traveler and per segment.
Standard Ticket
- If you change your trip, you’ll only pay the difference for the new booking. We’ll cover the rest.
- For bookings made before December 5th 2024: If you cancel, you’ll get €10 in Kiwi.com Credit that you can use for a new booking.
- For bookings made on or after December 5th 2024: You can still cancel your trip with us up to 48 hours before the start of the journey, and we’ll handle your request according to airline rules. You’ll be charged a refund fee of €30 per traveler and per segment.
Flexi Ticket
- If you change your trip, you’ll only pay the difference for the new booking. We’ll cover the rest.
- If you cancel, you’ll get back 80% of the price you paid for the airline ticket and their services, such as bags or seats.
There are a couple of details you should know before you change or cancel:
It’s only possible to change your trip once under Standard and Flexi Ticket conditions. After you make the change, Saver Ticket rules will apply for all other changes or cancellations.
If you have a Flexi Ticket and cancel your trip and receive a refund from us, if the airline provides any further refund on top of this amount, we have the right to keep it as a fee for our services.
Can I cancel with the airline directly?
You might choose not to cancel your ticket with us, and go directly to the airline. But their policies and the way we book trips vary, so it might not always be possible to get a refund.
If you successfully claim a refund from the airline, they might send it to our bank account — if that happens, we’ll reach out to you as soon as we receive the refund.

What if my trip gets canceled or changed by the airline?
If your trip gets canceled or significantly changed by the airline, your options will depend on whether you added Disruption Protection Premium, regardless of your ticket type.
Can I cancel only a part of my trip?
If you chose Saver or Standard Tickets, yes, you can cancel specific flights. You’ll be able to select which flights to cancel, and we’ll handle your request according to airline rules.
If you booked with Flexi Ticket, unfortunately you won’t be able to cancel specific flights. You’ll only be able to cancel the whole booking for all travelers.
