The farm has been growing apples for more than 100 years. Visitors can help pick apples in the orchards at harvest time, and if not, they will be tempted with apple pie and cider doughnuts. You can also buy local cheddar cheese at the farm and irresistible homemade fudge. There are plenty of opportunities to sample the cider, and it is the ideal place for families as there is a play area, too.

If you are going to the New York State Fairgrounds, watch out for the Daniel Witter Agricultural Museum. The museum opened in 1928 and is regularly upgraded. It tells the story of the state’s agricultural development and its importance. Daniel Parrish Witter was one of the area’s biggest dairy farmers.
