Seating policy for families — Ryanair & Laudamotion
While booking, you may have noticed an additional fee added to your total after adding children to your booking.
Ryanair and its subsidiary, Laudamotion, require adult travelers flying with children (ages 2–12) to purchase a seat reservation. The fee for this reservation varies depending on the route and travel dates selected.
This fee allows you to reserve seats for up to 4 children alongside the accompanying adult for free.

You will not be able to select your seats through Kiwi.com. Seating is arranged automatically so that the travelers will sit together. If there aren’t enough open seats for Ryanair to seat your group together, then unfortunately, you must select a different flight.
The fee will increase if travelers fly with 5 or more children.
